Posterous Launches Simple Group Blog and Gets Funding

Posterous allow users to repost the stuff you email in to Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Scribd,Tumblr, etc. Simplicity has an edge that may prove a very popular feature that will garner users.
The company is announcing a new product, group blogs for users to share within a group. Posterous allows you to blog with a small group of friends, or family’s email addresses to any Posterous site you set and they can then email items to share in the group. The group blogging will great for friends, families, teams, etc. to share messages,docs, news, music, photos, videos, and other various forms of content.
Posterous is a Y Combinator incubated company and has previously raised $725,000 from XG Ventures and a number of high profile individual investors
