Moblyng is a mobile social network and announced launched a new mobile entertainment site and new feature for music artists on MySpace to connect to fans on mobile devices. Previously, Moblyng was known for capability of turning Flash videos and music play lists into attractive slide shows found on sites like MySpace or YouTube on to mobile phones. The company has developed at m.moblyng.com into an entertainment destination with access for mobile phones.
The m.moblyng site is like a personal mobile web page similar to myspace , facebook, and other social networking site. The company takes advantage of existing content and application and bringing the media to mobile devices (some of applications : youtube, myspace, rockyou, and sharing other items like videos, pictures, slideshows). Moblyng is an interesting way to get media (music , video, and personal media) available on web and bring onto the mobile device in an social networking environment.
The Moblyng is a Redwood, CA based company and received $5.7 million in venture funding from Mohr Davidow Ventures and Deep Fork Capital.
